UKMTO ADVISORY NOTICE 003/NOV/2015

Description: On 21 November 2015 at 10.10 UTC in position 09 52 18N 055 16 00E, an MV reported a white and blue boat with 5 or 6 POB, with a CPA of 100 meters to the vessels Starboard aft.

The Vessel’s security team showed presence and fired two flares, the boat continued to follow.

The Security team then fired a warning shot and the boat reduced its speed and followed at a distance of 0.2 nm increasing to 0.5nm before disappearing after 15 minutes.

Vessel is SAFE.
