Place: Abeam of the Bonga Terminal, Nigeria
The MTISC-GOG has received a report from a tanker, that a speedboat was approaching the vessel in pos: 04.19.9 N & 004.26.8 E at 1230 LT.
The armed guards onboard the vessel gave some warning shots, and the suspicious speedboat aborted the attack.
No crew were harmed.
All vessels within the vicinity of this alert are advised to operate with a heightened level of security and encouraged to report any suspicious activity to info@mtiscgog.org
