1. This is the first weekly report published by MDAT-GoG. The MDAT-GoG became operational on Monday 20th June 2016 at 0600Z.
2. The MDAT-GoG has already received more than 800 reports within 3 days of its operation.
3. Ships entering the area are encouraged to register with the MDAT, using the pre-formatted e-mail forms described in Maritime Security Guidance for Vessels and Mariners operating in the GoG.
4. Two new hydrographic charts will be available from both SHOM and UKHO from 30th June.
5. No security incidents have been reported during this period.
