At approximately 0650hrs (UTC) in position N03°16’ - E005°09’, around 89nm SW of Brass, Nigeria, armed pirates boarded a tanker underway. The alarm was raised and all crew members went into the citadel. Later, the crew emerged from the citadel and took control of the vessel, when the pirates had left the vessel. All crew members are safe. The vessel is proceeding to her next destination.
