Robbers boarded an anchored bulk carrier. Duty OS noticed the robbers at the forecastle and immediately informed the OOW. Alarm raised and crew mustered. Upon hearing the alarm and seeing the crew alertness, the robbers escaped without stealing anything. Incident reported to port control and local agent.
