Description: According to the Nigerian Navy quoted in local media, unidentified militants reportedly carrying an explosive device on board, approached oil facilities near Petrochemical Company’s Jetty in Ekpan Warri, Delta state.

Observing the suspicious approach, the naval forces instructed the boat to stop. When the militants refused, the Naval firces opened fire. As a result, an explosion occurred on board the militant’s boat
