Description: A speed boat carrying eight armed men attacked MAERSK COTONOU.
The container ship applied counter piracy measures which were successful. MAERSK COTONOU continued to its destination.
This attempted attack was carried out by the same pirates which tried to attack an inbound convoy this morning.
