Pirates release the SARONIC BREEZE #marsec #piracy

Please be advised that following the Maritime Security Alert for West Africa dated 29 November 2016, the following information has become available:

BI confirmed that pirates released the vessel SARONIC BREEZE in the evening of 29 November after hijacking it off the coast of Benin.

The vessel's current location is reported to be approximately 20NM off Nigeria.

The pirates kidnapped three crewmembers, while the remaining 17 crewmembers were released and are in good condition.
