Description: Nigerian security forces rescued a group of Nigerian traders who suffered an attack by suspected Bakassi Strike Force militants using speedboats mounted with machine guns.
The heavily armed militants were in the process of robbing the civilian traders on board a wooden boat loaded with rice.
Following a heavy exchange of gunfire, security forces arrested one suspect and recovered two speedboats, machine guns and several boat engines.
