BIMCO Webinar on Weapons End User Certificates

A very useful Webinar about End User Certificates for weapons used by private maritime security companies on board ships including the concerns of illegal leasing and loaning of weapons.

ASKET monitor the use of weapons by our Preferred Providers and demand a declaration for each transit that the weapons and equipment are wholly owned and legally owned by the PMSC.

Our team also monitor the process including flag state approval and the tracking of those weapons and inform the authorities including BIMCO of any discrepancies that raise concerns.

ASKET will not approve or will remove any PMSC that is found to be using weapons or equipment illegally.
