1. UKMTO released two Advisories this week. Both Incidents took place in the Gulf of Aden in the Eastern IRTC, Advisory 001/Mar is thought most likely to be linked to people trafficking or migration as the incident took place in a well known transit corridor for such activities
Weather conditions in the Gulf of Aden have improved significantly this week, UKMTO has received a corresponding increase in the reported sightings of large numbers of fishing boats throughout the IRTC, Advisory 002/Mar is thought to be attributable to this ‘Pattern of Life’ activity
