IRREGULAR ACTIVITY
4NM/180 ABIDJAN
At around 22:30ZHrs in position 05°10N / 004°04W, The crew of a merchant vessel at anchor in ABIDJAN anchorage area observed a suspicious boat unlit approaching from the stern with 7POB.The boat came alongside the port quarter.
The crew were alerted, and the alarm sounded, water jets were activated on the ship sides. The boat was cast-off and circled the MV closely before moving away. ABIDJAN port control were informed on VHF 12.
No damage or casualties were reported.
