While underway, six perpetrators armed with guns and knives boarded the ship. The master and crew were tied up; and ship's cash, crew’s personal belongings and cash were stolen. The perpetrators thereafter escaped in a small boat. After the perpetrators left the ship, the master managed to untie himself and reported the incident to his Company Security Officer (CSO).
