ATTACK

14NM/180° of Bonny Island, NIGERIA

At around 13:45ZHrs in position 04°09’34N 007°03’47E, a supply vessel was attacked by 10 persons in a wooden boat. MDAT-GoG Comment: This event refers to Warning 001/SEP/17. Investigations are in progress to confirm the nature of the incident.

ROBBERY AT ANCHORAGE

6NM/180° from Conakry, GUINEA

At 02:06ZHrs in position 09°24’00N 013°44’00W, an anchored merchant vessel was boarded by robbers. Alert was relayed on VHF16. Maritime Operation Centre of Conakry then contacted the vessel who confirmed the incident. Robbers were armed with knives and crowbars. Robbers broke some ship's windows and properties. MDAT-GoG Comment: This event refers to Advisory 003/SEP/17 and looks really similar with the event that occurred on 8th .
