2. Description: On 20th October 2017 at 1834 UTC, a Vessel was attacked in psn 0355N 00639E (around 50 NM south of Port Harcourt, Nigeria). A black speedboat travelling at 25 to 27 knots approached the Vessel and fired shots, Navy team on-board returned fire. The boat followed for 25 minutes before turning away. Vessel and crew are SAFE. Mariners are advised to exercise caution in this area.
