Piracy and Armed Robbery Against Ships in Asia

OVERVIEW

During the period of 24-30 Oct 17, four incidents of piracy and armed robbery against ship (comprising three actual incidents and one attempted incident) were reported to the ReCAAP ISC. Of these, one was a piracy incident and three were armed robberies against ships. The location of the incidents is shown in the map below; and detailed description tabulated in attachment.
