Posn: 01:25.64N - 104:35.29E, Around 12nm North of Tg. Berakit, Pulau Bintan, Indonesia.
Three robbers armed with knives boarded an anchored product tanker.
Duty crew on routine rounds noticed the robbers.
Alarm raised and crew mustered. Hearing the alarm and seeing the alerted crew, the robbers escaped with ship’s properties.
A search was carried out. Incident report to MPA Singapore.
