MT BARRETT missing off Cotonou, Benin - Gulf of Guinea #piracy #marsec

The products tanker “BARRETT” has gone missing from the anchorage at Cotonou, Benin.
The 11,999 dwt vessel, which is partly laden, is believed to have sailed from Cotonou between 2133 UTC on 9th January 2018 and 0130 UTC on 10th January 2018, heding south.

The vessel’s last known position was 5.12647N / 2.353453E (5°07'35.3"N, 002°21'12.4"E) at 0903 UTC on 10th January 2018.
The vessel’s Owners, Managers, Charterers and Cargo interests are appealing for any information anyone might have reagarding the whereabouts of the vessel.

All ships in the region are requested to be on the look-out for the BARRETT.
