Update: MDAT GOG have received reports that the merchant vessel has been released. Vessel and crew are SAFE.

Initial Advisory: On 01 February 2018 at 0327UTC, merchant ship possibly hijacked.

Last known Psn 061557N 0023030E (Cotonou anchorage, Benin).

Vessels transiting the area are advised to exercise extreme caution.
