1. Description: On 03 April 2018 at approximately 0915UTC an incident occurred onboard a Merchant Vessel in position: 1429.3N 04211.2E (Southern Red Sea).

UPDATE:

On 03 April 2018 at approximately 0915UTC a Merchant Vessel reported an explosion in position: 1429.3N 04211.2E (Southern Red Sea). At present cause unknown. Investigations are currently ongoing.

VESSELS TRANSITING THE AREA ARE ADVISED TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION
