1. Category: ATTACK
2. On 07 APR 2018A at 0436Z, a MV is under attack 50 nm south of BONNY RIVER.
No precise position is available. An unknown number of armed pirates are stated to be on board.
Vessels transiting the area are advised to exercise extreme caution.
UPDATE 02
On 07 APR 2018 at 0715Z, a MV is under attack at the following position 0337N 00707E (50 nm south of BONNY RIVER). Four armed pirates are on board. The crew mustered in citadel, nobody is reported injured. Vessels transiting the area are advised to exercise extreme caution.
UPDATE 3
MV is no longer under attack and heading back to port Crew and vessel safe.
