Two events have been reported to MDAT-GoG this week.
14/10/18
Attempted Robbery
237/12NM off Lagos
On Sunday 14th October 2018 at 0045 UTC, in position 06°17’33N 003°13’47E (Lagos anchorage) a MV was boarded by two intruders. They jumped overboard and escaped by boat when spotted by watchman. Nothing was stolen. Crew and vessel are safe.

Sighting
232/13NM off Lagos
On Wednesday 17th October 2018 at 0155 UTC, in position 06°15’54N – 003°13’18E (Lagos Anchorage) a speed boat was spotted nearby the anchor chain of a MV with four persons on board. The alarm was raised and the boat moved away. Nothing was stolen. Crew and vessel are safe.
