1. Category: Boarding
2. Description: On 22nd November 2018 at 00:50Hrs UTC, in position 04°13.39’N – 008°03.42’E (19nm from shore) a vessel was boarded by armed men. Pirates escaped on-board a blue hulled boat following intervention from a security vessel. Direction of escape unknown. The MV and crew are SAFE.
Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution in this area.
