193°/80Nm from Brass, NIGERIA
On 21st February 2019, at about 0016Z in position 02°59’30”N – 005°56’36”E, a speedboat approached from port quarter, tried to board from port beam and then from port quarter but didn’t succeed due to evasive maneuvering.
The second violent attempt was from the starboard beam and shots were fired towards vessel bridge. They failed to board and left.
No crew were injured.
