Takoradi GHANA
On the 23th February 2019, at approximately 0300-0400 UTC in Takorady anchorage, a MV (NAME WITHHELD) had 20 cans of paint stolen by an unknown number of thieves.
Attack
02/03/19
180°/104NM off Lagos, NIGERIA
On the 02nd March 2019 at 1230UTC, an MV (NAME WITHHELD) has been attacked in position 04°37’N - 003°16’E. All the crew mustered in citadel.
A civilian security vessel and a Nigerian Navy Ship were dispatched on scene. The crew left the citadel on the 03rd of March early in the morning after having confirmation about the pirates leaving the vessel. Crew and ship were reported safe.

180°/30NM off Lome, TOGO
On the 03rd March 2019 at 1940UTC, an MV (NAME WITHHELD) was attacked in position 05°37N – 001°16E. The crew mustered in citadel and a Togolese Patrol Boat was dispatched on scene to assist the MV.
After sunrise, the crew exited the citadel with the assistance of the Togolose Navy and the ship returned to Lome Anchorage for further judicial investigation.
