1. UKMTO has issued no Advisories and no Warnings this week.
2. The relocation of the Operational Headquarters of EU NAVFOR Atalanta Operation to Rota Naval Base in Spain and the Maritime Security Centre Horn of Africa (MSCHOA) to Brest Naval Base in France, is now complete. 3. The Regional Director for International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN), Mr Chirag Bahri, paid a visit to the Dubai Office this week. A former hostage held for 10 months by Somali pirates, he knows personally the hardships seafarers’ face. 4. The 44 th CMF/EUNAVOR Shared Awareness and Deconfliction (SHADE) conference will take place in Bahrain 16 -17 April 19. Details can be found on the MSCHOA website (login required). 5. The UKMTO Maritime Information Exchange Vessel Operators Meeting (MIEVOM) will take place in Dubai on 25 April19. Interested parties should register their attendance at DubaiOP1@ukmto.org
