ROBBERY
21/07/19
259/15NM off Freetown, SIERRA LEONE
On the 21st July in position 08°27N - 013°28W at 0240UTC, an MV (NAME WITHHELD) was boarded by 5 men armed with knives. The crew members onboard raised quickly the alarm and a Sierra Leonan Navy ship was dispatched.
The attackers fled the scene in a speed boat. Vessel and crew were reported safe.
A crewmember was reported as lightly wounded.
