1. This week UKMTO issued no advisories or warnings.

2. IMX 19, a multi-lateral maritime exercise will take place in the Gulf region from 21 Oct - 14 Nov 19. The intent of this exercise is to demonstrate a global resolve to maintain freedom of navigation and the free flow of maritime commerce. Building interoperability and familiarity with maritime security partners to ensure maritime trade flows in and out of strategic choke points.

3. Cdr Edward Pietschik German NCAGS and US NCAGS personnel Lt Cdr Charles Smith and CPO Darius James will be working with UKMTO Dubai for IMX 19 from 3 -12 Nov 19. 4. The calling notice has been issued for the next Maritime Information Exchange Vessel Operators’ Meeting (MIEVOM) to be held in the Dubai International Seafarers’ Center (DISC) on Thursday 28 November 2019.
