2. UKMTO Dubai held the 29th MIEVOM conference at the Dubai International Seafarers Centre on 28 Nov 19. My sincere thanks goes to those who gave presentations and to all who attended and contributed to the event. A copy of the Record of Discussion and presentations will be made available in due course.

3. Media articles this week concentrate on the International effort to maintain safety and freedom of navigation for ships and crews in the Gulf region.
