MDAT GoG - Attempted Boarding Gulf of Guinea #piracy

2. Description: On 20th January 2020 at 2300 UTC in posn 0530N – 00341E an attempted boarding against an MT underway, was made by a skiff with 5 to 6 pirates on board. A long ladder with hooks was also sighted on the skiff.

Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution in this area.
