A. Robbery events

One sea theft occurred on board an Indonesian-flagged Tug while anchored off Batam Island, Indonesia (south part of Singapore strait).

B. Contraband

- Bangladesh Coast guard (BCG) arrested two people along with 30,000 contraband yaba (meth) tablets in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh;

- The Sarawak Customs Department has thwarted an attempt to smuggle in 3.56 million cigarette sticks to Kuching, Malaysia.
