ATTACK

21/02/2020

180/207 LAGOS, NIGERIA

Vessel reported being attacked in posn. 0256N 00330E. The crew and the vessel are reported safe.

IRREGULAR ACTIVITY

25/02/2020

LAGOS NIGERIA

While the merchant vessel was at anchorage(06°18.0’N 003°21.35E), two men were detected on board during security rounds. Alarm sounded by the crew. The 2 men jumped overboard.

SUSPICIOUS APPROACH

27/02/2020

310°/60nm off LUANDA, ANGOLA

On 27th FEB 2020 at 0824UTC, in position 08°10,4S – 012°41,6E, a MV (NAME WITHHELD) was approached by a white skiff with 8 people on board. A ladder was sighted. MV took evasive maneuvers. Skiff stopped pursuit. Ship and crew were reported safe. MDAT-GOG Comment: Advisory 001/FEB/20
