BOARDING

18/04/2020 Cotonou Anchorage

On the 18th April at 2245UTC, while at Cotonou Anchorage, an MV(NAME WITHHELD) was boarded by an unknown number of persons. A Beninese patrol boat, in the vicinity of the MV, went to assist and a skiff left the area at speed. MCC Area E has coordinated a joint operation between the Nigerian and Beninese Navy to board and secure the MV (NAME WITHHELD) on the 20th April.
