Attempted Boarding

E LAGOS PORT, NIGERIA

MDAT-GOG has received information about an irregular activity which occurred on an MV (NAME WITHHELD) at the Lagos port.

At 0800 UTC on 01 Aug 20, in position 0627’30N - 00322’30E, five persons attempted to board the vessel on its sea side, watchmen raised the alarm and informed the local authorities.

The intruders fled on a small boat, all crew are reported safe.
