Robbery

A024/6NM off Luanda, ANGOLA

MDAT-GOG has received information of a robbery which occurred on an MV (NAME WITHHELD) at Luanda anchorage. At 0206 UTC on August 10th in position 08°42,0’S – 013°18,5’E, the vessel was boarded by 3 robbers. The robbers tied up the crew member on watch and managed to escape with ship’s property before the alarm was raised.

MDAT-GOG comment : No action from MDAT because information was received too late after the incident.
