On the 09th May at approximately 0100UTC, in position 03°47N - 008°46E, an MV (NAME WITHHELD) was boarded by an unknown number of attackers.

On the 09th May at approximately 0200UTC, in position 03°29'14N - 008°33'12E, an MV (NAME WITHHELD) was boarded by an unknown number of attackers.

SUSPICIOUS APPROACH

325/23NM off Malabo EQUATORIAL GUINEA
On the 09th May at approximately 0045UTC, an MT (NAME WITHHELD) has reported that she was pursued by a skiff (position : 04°05N 008°33E) . The Cameroonese Authorities have dispatched a patrol boat. Vessel and crew were reported safe.

THEFT

000/0NM off Takoradi GHANA
On the 11th May at approximately 0345UTC, in position 04°53'10N - 001°44'50W, an MV (NAME WITHHELD) was boarded at Takoradi port. Reports indicate the perpetrators stole one of the ships life raft whilst at berth.

ROBBERY
14/05/2020
200/15NM Conakry GUINEA
On the 14 th May at approximately 0031UTC, in position 09°16'10N - 013°46'42W, an MV (NAME WITHHELD) was boarded at Conakry Anchorage. Reports indicate 4 thieves climbed on board the MV, stole money from the vessel and the crews mobile phones, watches and other valuables. crew are safe.

IRREGULAR ACTIVITY

180/120NM off Cotonou BENIN
On the 14 th May at approximately 0130UTC, in position 04°34'42N - 002°29'54E, an MV (NAME WITHHELD) has observed a vessel approximately 80m length and one skiff. After altering course and increasing speed, the closest point of approach was 2.5nm.
