Two events have been reported to MDAT-GoG this week.
ATTACK
09/06/20
190/Bayelsa/95 NM NIGERIA
On the 09th June, at approximately 1900UTC, in position 03°14'18N - 004°43E, a skiff with 5 POB tried to board an MV (NAME WITHHELD). The vessel has applied the BMP5 procedure and the assaillants have aborted the attempted boarding. A security vessel was dispatched in order to secure and assist the MV (NAME WITHHELD).

ROBBERY
09/06/20
200/Conakry/9NM, GUINEA
On the 09th June, at approximately 0030UTC, a MT (NAME WITHHELD) whilst at Conakry anchorage ( 09°21N - 013°47W) has reported a robbery on board. The perpetrators were 6 armed men (knife and hand weapons) . The local authorities were informed and an investigation are ongoing.
